6 Things That I Love About Living In California

Growing up in California my whole life has been amazing! California has the best beaches that I have been to and greatest cities that I have ever been so far. California is my home, this what I love most about this great state.
1. Beaches

California is known for its beaches, the beach is my favorite place especially spending half of my life living in the desert, so whenever I go to the beach it’s basically the best local vacation. The beaches can range from very active and social to a calm and relaxing vibe depending on where you go.

2. Weather

California is known for having great weather for activities outside. Although sometimes our weather can change randomly most of the time, some nights can be freezing! Expect a rainy day and waking up to a hot day.

3. Cities

Los Angeles is a great tourist city, many people find LA as a great vacation. I grew up mostly in a suburban town so whenever I visit Los Angeles or any major city in general I get excited by the big buildings and bright lights at night! Same goes for cities such as Sam Fransico and San Diego!

4. Get away from the city

For some people, living in a big city isn’t what they want, sometimes people just want to live somewhere less busy. Cities like Riverside is great for people that want to raise families or more close to nature.

5. Coachella

Coachella is one of the greatest music festivals in California, awesome musicians perform there each year. If you are in California really think about attending this great event that happens each year!

6. Foggy mornings

Foggy mornings are quite known in my location, in my area I live in the mountains so I experience a lot of fog! waking up to a foggy morning can be amazing and gives a cozy feeling.

8 things I learned from yoga

Bringing yoga into my life showed me a different lifestyle. Yoga helped me external and internal. Below I will discuss the positive effects that yoga has on me.

1. Flexibility

Before practing yoga I couldn’t touch my toes while attempting to bend down. Yoga has shown me that it’s possible to become flexible and the more you practice the more the results will show

2. Yoga is similar to meditation

Yoga can really bring yourself into a meditation mind state. As I learned yoga, I noticed that I was mediating as I was listening to my yoga instructer with my eyes closed and in a mediation sitting position. This made me love learning yoga more and noticed how peaceful it was.

3. My breathing improved

I learned that breathing is huge yoga, there are yoga breathing methods to help you breathe better, for the past weeks I have noticed that I should breathe steady especially during other activities.

4. My stress reduced

Being stressed out is not good at all. Yoga has brought me into a less stresssed out mindset showing me that you don’t need to stress and that yoga will help you think more positive about life.

5. Brought me into the present moment

Like meditating, yoga can be very similar. I noticed that I was more present, focusing on my breathing while having my eyes closed really improved my mind.

6. More tone in my muscles

I never thought that yoga can do so many things for me. Bringing yoga into my life has shown me that the practice can help tone up muscles and also strengthen bones.

7. Improved posture

As I continued my yoga practice I noticed that my posture has improved. Sitting in a chair for hours or in bed can have a effect on your body. Yoga has helped my straighten my back and sit in better positions.

8.  Became happier

Yoga has shown me to appreciate my life more. I started to see things differently and my way of thinking changed, I became more positive and started doing new activities.

Yoga is a great experience and a positive lifestyle!

Yoga has made my life more positive in many ways. I will continue to practice yoga, I’m excited for anything new yoga has to offer me.

Benefits of drinking a gallon of water a day for a month

Drinking water is very important for humans, it’s what keeps us alive and keeps us functioning. For about a month straight I tested out drinking a gallon a water a day. Months have gone by and I can say that my experience with a gallon a day helped and improved myself, bellow you can see my progress.

Week 1.  Full of energy

Drinking a lot of water kept me full of energy throughout my day. My brain seemed to function even better and I was more alert.

Week 2. Skin cleared up

People have always told me that drinking a lot of water will help stop acne and clear skin. I quickly noticed that drinking pure water helped my acne and also gave a glow to my skin!

Week 3. Healthy hair

The more water you drink the more you will see your hair growing healthy and faster, lots of water helps flush out toxins more which speeds up hair growth!

Week 4. Exercising and muscles improvement!

I have seen a lot of improvement of my muscles and learned that keeping your body hydrated will strengthen your bones. During the past month I have been drinking a lot of water to help me stay healthy and hydrate my bones so I will see the results in my work out routines. You need enough water to get enough electrolytes that we need to support our bones!

The results of a full month

I have seen a lot of healthy side effects by drinking a gallon a water a day. I also noticed that I would have to urinate more than I usually did, so I tried to drink a balance of water throughout the day so I wouldn’t have to keep going back and fourth to the restroom. A gallon of water helped grow my hair faster and my nails. Drinking enough water will improve exercising and keep you pushing!
Be sure to follow and like if you would like to see more experiences that I had!
